Limited Edition: 1/5. This print was part of a series titled 'Transcedance', which was exhibited in the Bunker building in Copenhagen. Hosted and curated by Re:arc Institute.

For this piece Rayan renders a very familiar Sudanese informal setting, with ‘bambar’s (wooden framed seats, strung with rope) a Jebena (East African coffee set) and bakhoor (burning incense) all in the sky. It imagines a futuristic setting that doesn’t neglect the existing Sudanese way of life.

Printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Photo Rag, 320 gsm.
